FAQs

1)  IS THERAPY RIGHT FOR ME?

Therapy is a great resource for individuals experiencing issues affecting their mental health. Some signs that indicate therapy may be helpful to you include feeling sad or unmotivated, facing difficult life transitions or experiencing excessive worry.

2)  HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR THERAPY SERVICES?

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and to determine if we are a good match. If I am unable to meet your needs, I am able to provide referrals to other therapists per your request.

3)  DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

At this time, I do not accept private health insurance. The therapy fee of $200 is paid in full via Ivy Pay at the end of each session.

4)  ARE YOU TAKING NEW CLIENTS?

I am accepting new clients. I currently have availability on weekday evenings.

5)  WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE INITIAL INTAKE APPOINTMENT?

The initial intake appointment is an “info gathering” session that allows me to thoroughly assess your symptoms, history and goals for therapy.

6)  HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS? HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?

Sessions are 50 minutes long and occur on a weekly basis.
