About Me

EDUCATION

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law & Society with a minor in Education from the University of California, Irvine. I then earned my Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Community Mental Health from California State University, Fullerton. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

EXPERIENCE

I have worked in community agencies, psychiatric facilities and hospitals. For fifteen years, I have been working with young adults at the University of California, Irvine as a social worker providing case management support.

CLINICAL APPROACH

I utilize an integrative approach with cognitive behavior, interpersonal and solution focused interventions when working to address each person’s unique, individual needs.

POPULATIONS OF INTEREST

I enjoy working with young adults facing life transitions (e.g., college, career, marriage) as well as professional, working mothers who are balancing family life and work responsibilities.
